This is by far the most interesting interview I've read in months. Thanks for steering clear of the usual questions. Scalzi also seems like a really down to earth dude. It's cool to see someone in the business rip into our preconceptions about how bands work and it affects the way bands' artistic processes function. Also, "I heard that song and I thought it sucked, like so bad." Laughed so hard at that one. I've been reading about their Thin Lizzy likeness for years so that came as quite a shock.
