Bleeding Fist
Bestial Kruzifix666ion

Primal and unadulterated hate is what fuels Slovenia’s Bleeding Fist, as is evident upon hearing Bestial Kruzifix666ion, which — spelling aside — is a most excellent release. The four purveyors of morbid sounds comprising Bleeding Fist (with evil/awesome names like Infernal Karburator and Krieg Maschine) trample listeners with earful after earful of satanic, raw black-death-thrash.

Cruel, pain-infused themes fill Bestial Kruzifix666ion’s playing time, most of which is made out of a hybrid of dirt-caked old school death metal and frost-flecked crusty black metal. “Morbid Psychotic Distortion Part 1” kicks things off with a throatful of sputum and a handful of fast-picked riffs, while the next one, “Spirit, Dust and Magic,” takes a slower, more classic Death Metal approach to its intro, but it quickly lurches into murky-cold Black Metal  territory. “Sabbath ov Mist” and “Dissected Dominion in Blood,” like others on the album, lean on a demanding, militaristic, snare-driven sound, while “Conquering Apocalypse” is a full-on death march. It’s the skill put forth, the fury that is emanated, and the seamless fusion of death, black and thrash that make this underground metal match made in hell work so well.

To sum things up, if your thing tends to lean toward the extreme side of things but primitive yearnings remain important factors in what soaks into your brain, then Bleeding Fist will appeal to you. Bestial Kruzifix666ion evokes latent memories of wars both modern and ancient with a commanding, heart-ripping attitude that is not for the timid or those who prefer their metal to be spit-shined. Bleeding Fist delivers 100% evil, razor-riffing chaos.

I bought this album COMPLETELY on a whim about 4 or 5 months ago and I am quite pleased. Evil, twisted and sick. Just like good black metal should be.

  2. [...] Bleeding Fist – Bestial Kruzifix666ion. Unholy blackened death from Slovenia. Less on the melodic side than my other selections this year, [...]

This band is one of the few black metal bands nowadays that still promote real black metal attitude. I had the pleasure to meet them personally in Paris… those are sick drunken bastards…

    total support!
