No, this is not that excruciatingly annoying fat honky rap outfit. This is one of Sweden’s greatest hardcore groups on an album that will knock you flat on your face! Allday Hell is like a more bitter and violent combination of Discharge, Nausea, and Disrupt with a heaping helping of Motorhead. The majority of this release was produced by Nasum’s Mieszko Talarczyk who has also produced the recent Exhumed and Regurgitate albums. Talarczyk’s production is a perfect compliment to Wolfpack’s furious hardcore assault. The last four tracks are produced by none other than Thomas Skogsburg. The shocker is that the sound on the last few tracks ain’t THAT great. The production issue is a small one as Wolfpack’s face-smashing blitzcore rises above any other shortcomings.
One major plus for me is that this has zero whiney hippie political bullshit lyrics that plague the genre. Their lyrics tend to deal with despair, misanthropy and rage yet they make it nice and sparkling clear that they are anti-racist without being pussies about it. Also, don’t miss their killer GG Allin cover (I’m sure the king of shock punk is proud and smiling in hell at this very moment). The bottom line is that Allday Hell is ultra high energy hardcore of the highest caliber. That caliber is .44 and it will blow your head clean off without flinching. Hail Wolfpack!
