Sweden’s Marionette Posts New Song on MySpace

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal sextet Marionette have posted the song “Release” onto their Myspace. “Release” comes from Marionette’s debut album, Spite, which will be released on 28 April through France’s Listenable Records.

The band comments: “Hey all! We are happy to announce that we have posted yet ANOTHER song from “Spite” onto our Myspace Page! We really look forward to hearing what everyone thinks of “Release”! We feel as though the 5 songs on our Myspace page now give everyone a good feel for what they can expect on “Spite”. BUT, there are a lot of surprises still left in store for the listener, so we hope everyone takes the chance to buy the record!’

Spite was recorded with a team of up-and-coming and established producers in the Swedish scene, including Simon Exner (Ethereal) and two-time Swedish Grammy award winner Åke Parmerud in Gothenburg and Borås, Sweden. Spite was mixed and mastered by Christian Silver at Studio Mega (Sonic Syndicate, By Night, The Crown) in Varberg, Sweden. In addition to the song “Release”, the songs “Burn Me”, “Parasite”, “Burn Me” and “Flies” are all available for streaming on the band’ official Myspace Page.

Marionette recently released the music video for the song “Burn Me”, which was recorded and produced by Robert Karlsson, who works with acclaimed Swedish video director Patrick Ullaeus (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR) at Revolver Film Company.
