I don’t understand why people call Neaera a metalcore band. I own all their albums and I’ve listened through them all to find out why they’re lumped into that “genre” and I really cant figure it out. Is it cause they’re German? To me, they’re a melodic death band, no question. Maybe at most an extremely melodic death/thrash band, but beyond that, i don’t know. They have break downs, but so did Ebony Tears, In Thy Dreams, etc.
I know this really had nothing to do with Anima, but I had to get this off my chest.
