I personally prefer the cover of Sabbath’s “Junior’s Eyes” to the Neil Young cover, but at the time this review was written, I didn’t have access to the bonus tracks, which is usually the case. As I understand it, they’re not even included on all the retail versions of the record.

On a side note, one of my favorite BLS tunes, though, is their cover of “Heart of Gold.”

Not sure what the case was with this particular promo, but usually–and unfortunately–the stuff we get don’t include all of the stuff that retail releases have. Be it proper booklets or other extras.

I literally fell asleep watching Black Label Society at Ozzfest. In the midst of thousands of loud-ass people, getting stepped on, etc. That kinda sums up how I feel about this band

I’ve always enjoyed Zakks stuff, especially the ballads. I like how this record has some great main songs and the ballads are just extra. Great return.
