Finally a review that has not bashed Chelsea Grin.

4/5 Pretty Good Album

It’s an improvement from their ep,at least he’s not doing inhales anymore.But more or less general deathcore,they stick to a “Suicide Silence-The Cleansing” formula though they do it better than most of the 1000 other shitty bands that have tried before

I’m a big deathcore fan, but I hated this album. Mainly because of the Suicide Silence-cloned screams. That high-pitched raspy yell is a vocal style I have never liked and kills it for me with a lot of promising deathcore.

I don’t like this band at all. Bores me. If they do decide to buy their own pair of shoes and start walking their own path, however, I may come back in a couple years to revisit them.

Not a bad album. I’m glad to see at least one other person who likes deathcore. I’m in the minority of liking it too. I just see it as fun heavy-ass music.
