Based on the first single I was expecting to hate this even more than Thornography (their nadir, imo), but if you say this is better than Abrahadabra (which has not left my CD player for the last month) then I’ll need to get on this immediately. Especially if it’s their best since Cruelty (which I thought they’d never come close to again).

I haven’t heard the whole record yet, but it’s good to know that “Forgive Me Father” is the worst cut– I had essentially written the entire album off as a collection of similar trash.
