You’re not the only one that hears Jeff Waters. There seemed to be a huge Annihilator lean on the last album. I think this band is one of the best of a current crop. And, having played a gig with them, really cool guys too.

I love the poppy melodic elements that come seemingly out of nowhere…and it’s nice to hear someone playing short, but tasty solos.

Nice write up, and good call on the Megadeth nod – that was one of the first bands that sprang to mind when I first heard these guys. An absolutely ripping yet super catchy album.

I really wasn’t trying to use this review as a soapbox for my opinion on downloading music, it was just a broad generalization that most bands seem to see in a negative light. Sure, some metal bands embrace downloading in all its forms and others shun it. Others are lackadaisical about the whole subject. It was just mentioned as a way to help open up the review.

piracy only exists in russia.downloading music isnt piracy by definition.labels need to be destroyed as they are only money lending insitutions for bands.
