Catharsis is the reason why some of my favorite albums stay in my rotation. Some may call it madness to listen to something which can evoke such feelings and maybe they’re right. However, when I go to listen to those albums, if feeling down, the experience of screaming, singing, or simply nodding along aways makes me feel better after completing the listen.
