I know that Morricone influenced a LOT of Anglophone music artists, from Pink Floyd, to Cream, Gnarls Barkley and Dangermouse. And those are just some of the English speaking artists. I’ll bet his influence on Italian music has been profound. I think his old Spaghetti Western scores are among the best-selling film scores of all time.

This is one great album – interesting and melodic, downright catchy and well produced without being overproduced. I’d love to see a new spaghetti western that uses these guys to compose their soundtrack.
