Vampires Everywhere!
Lost in the Shadows

I killed Deacon Frost,
I will find you girls as well,
Lost in the Shadows,

    Ooooo my turn!!!

    Hot Topic is God,
To Stupid Kids At The Mall,
    Black Hair, Make Up, GAY!
    Fuck Century Media,
    And Vampires Everywhere!

    And another…

    Twilight is soooo sweet,
Do you have some spare make up?
    Yeah dude, here you go,
Do you like my new chick pants?
Those are really tight, for real,

  2. Commented by: Fred Phillips

Why is it that I looked at the picture and knew exactly what they were going to sound like before I even clicked the link and listened? I’ve always hated people who judge anything on appearance, but every time I see a bunch of kids with hair dyed black and combed forward these days, I usually take a pass on it.

  3. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

    Listen, Fred Phillips,
    Your comment is incorrect,
    Not the opinion,
But the way that you wrote it,
    Try with a Tanka poem.

  4. Commented by: Brandon Duncan

Hahahhahahaha oh man this made my night!

  5. Commented by: gabaghoul

this makes me wish I had written my Whispered review as an epic haiku

  6. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

    Like Fred Phillips,
    Your comments are incorrect,
    Gab, it’s not haiku,
    Tanka has more syllables,
    Standard comments are boring.

  7. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

    The first line is five,
Then the next one is seven,
    Next is five again,
    Followed by two more sevens,
That is the way of Tanka.

  8. Commented by: gabaghoul

Holy shit this auto-tune crap is getting out of control. the music sounded like a shitty version of a band mashing up Fear Factory and Cradle of Filth (I like both bands) but then that pop auto-tune garbage comes in and just beggars it for sheer awfulness.

Seriously, it makes Attack Attack sound like Cryptopsy.

Unfortunately this will be immensely popular with the tween set.

  9. Commented by: gabaghoul

    FLF – tanka very much

  10. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

    Fear Factory’s cool,
And so is Cradle Of Filth,
    Neither auto tune,
    Attack! Attack! brokenCYDE,
This trend has gone on too long.

  11. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

    If I start a band,
    I’ll focus on the breakdown,
    Auto tune my voice,
I can make lots of money,
    Integrity? What is that?

  12. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

    Tired of me yet?
I see how that could happen,
    For now I will quit,
I have done enough of these,
Till there is more to be said.

  13. Commented by: Nick Taxidermy

  15. Commented by: Storm King

    This is on Century Media?

    Really?
    REALLY?

Watched the video until the auto-tune hit, and surrendered. What a mess.

  16. Commented by: Duckie

    Stabady stab stab,
    Stake through your fagtastic hearts,
    Like those sparkly noobs,
    You don’t matter to me,
When your music has no soul.

  17. Commented by: Erik Thomas

Thank you for reviewing this Blade- i got it in the mail, and almsot killed the mailman

  18. Commented by: gordeth

Looks like Century Media is trying to cash in on the whole Twilight craze. This music reminds me of what glam bands were doing in the ’80s except with different influences and shitty vocals. It annoys me but I’m not going to get too worked up over it. True metal will always prevail.

  19. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

What pisses me off the most about Century Media signing bands like these is that they give THEM these decent budgets for recording and making videos but they dick around good bands like Iced Earth and Nevermore. Did the label change owners or something?

  20. Commented by: elguerosinfe

    Awesome review…

  21. Commented by: Infinite Death

For crying out loud, will someone please tell this band that DEMONS DON’T SPARKLE???

  22. Commented by: vugelnox

I think back to years ago when I thought From Autumn to Ashes were really fuckin’ awful. “It can’t get any worse” I told myself. Oh how wrong I was!

  23. Commented by: GrandAeon

Ah, evolution. Where will it take us next?

To our doom, I guess. Or damn close.

  24. Commented by: mccumberv

I’m too stupid to know what is going on
    Someone clue me in
    This coffee tastes like shit
    wallet chains are ghey
Think I’ll crank some Brain Drill

  25. Commented by: faust666

    @vugelnox:

compared to Vampires Everywhere, FATA is like Never-fuckin-more !!

  26. Commented by: still exist

Oh, you true metal folks are so doggone sardonic and sartorially sage. Look, for all I know this band is atrocious, but when will you “true” metal folks quit calling bands gay and stupid just because they dress a certain way? I’d wager that you guys don’t get so vindictive when you see the latest black metal dudes outfitted in their gaudy threads. I like black metal attire, but how is that stuff less ridiculous than the whole “fashion core” thing? And hey, some of those black clad goth kids are fuckin stylin, motherfuckers! Ok, now I’m going to go listen to Watain while walking down the street in form fitting black leather pants, a satin jacket and a pink polka dot shirt.

  27. Commented by: Brutalicon

    fuck this…

FLF – thanks for making the comment thread funny. The music could incite a riot of people pissed off that they actually were exposed to this garbage.

  28. Commented by: Apollyon

still exist: pictures or it didn’t happen.

Anyway. I don’t think people truly give a shit about the band or how they dress. I doubt they matter in the grand scheme of things. Just a vehicle for quick, cheap and easy laughs to lighten up the day it seems… and for tanka poems.

The only good thing to come out of the whole Twilight-craze is that Paramore song. Catchy. Ooh!

  29. Commented by: vugelnox

@still exist: Apollyon is right, its just a source for a few quick laughs at their expense, settle down junior! Also the clothing isn’t really as applicable here as the obvious Twilight cash-in and those auto-tuned vocals.

  30. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

Mikko, image does matter ALOT when you’re trying to take a band seriously. If you can’t stop laughing at how they look then how will you ever be able to accept their music? Look at HeviSaurus for example… overall those dudes play some pretty competent if occasionally generic power metal but most people who see them in costume first will never take the time like I did to listen to the whole album and discover their not half bad. This is a huge reason why I despise music videos in general. In regards to this band, I would probably enjoy this song if I never saw the way they dressed. Their image is even more gut wrenching than the auto tuned vocals.

  31. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

    Which Blade film is best?
I really like the first two,
    But not Trinity,
    Triple H plays a homo,
    Though Jessica Beal is HOT!!!

  32. Commented by: Facial La Fleur

DUDE!!!!! I was listening to that song again and their chorus is actually a Tanka poem!!!! Check it.

    Call it love or lies,
    Call it anything you like,
    Call it love or fear,
    Till we all just disappear,
I really like to suck dicks.

  33. Commented by: Dimaension X

Honestly, the parts of the video where that hot blonde chick is running in slow-mo remind me of Baywatch.
